Thirsting for God

Who are the SoulJourners?

Life is a journey to be lived with mind, heart and soul.  As we mature in our journey we become storehouses of wisdom and truth, as well as a degree of wealth.  The SoulJourners Retreat (formerly the Senior Adult Conference) gives folks time together to reflect, grow, befriend, renew and seek God.

Theme Scripture

As a deer longs for flowing streams,  so my soul longs for you, O God. My soul thirsts for God,  for the living God.  When shall I come and behold the face of God? (Psalm 42:1-2, NRSV)

Renewal Room

Throughout the retreat, the Renewal Room will be open for your use as a place of prayer and connection to God. The Renewal Room includes opportunities to pray and meditate using experiential stations that include art, music, poetry, ritual, writing, Scripture, and nature. Come and go as you wish – respecting the presence of others as you participate and pray.
