Scholarships Available Through ABW Ministries of Wyoming
• Mabel Bolle Scholarship in the amount of $500.00 per year is available for a student who has committed to full-time Christian service and is attending an American Baptist school. The current scholar is Amanda Halliburton from Lander, who attends the University of Sioux Falls.
A word about the history of this scholarship: Mabel Bolle was the wife of a pastor who ministered in several Wyoming churches. The daughter of the Bolles is Margaret Prine, who has been a spiritual leader of women in Wyoming (and the nation) for many years. Margaret lives in Laramie.
• National Conference Scholarship in the amount of $500.00 is available each summer to assist an American Baptist woman in Wyoming in attending the national AB Women’s Ministries Conference in Green Lake, WI. The 2006 conference will be held July 22-29.
